Barclay–Vesey Building, now known as One Hundred Barclay, is one of the most spectacular skyscrapers in Lower Manhattan. Opened in 1927, it was a decade ahead with its Modernist / Art Deco style. Designed by the prolific New York architect Ralph Thomas Walker, the building proved influential to architects all across the US. Located in the heart of the financial district, it was severely damaged during the 9/11 attacks, but was painstakingly restored.
