Zizkov TV Tower, Prague (Žižkovská věž, Praha)

Ultra detailed illustration of Zizkov TV Tower by Václav Aulický and Jiří Kozák. It’s a strange mix of Space Architecture and Brutalism. The boldness and scale of Zizkov TV Tower, set in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, became a symbol for the heavy handed Communist government. Tainted by this connection (as much of Brutalist architecture around the country), Zizkov tower was repeatedly voted as the most hated building in the Czech Republic.
